Day
01: Arrive Delhi
You will be assisted on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight
in a hotel
Day
02: Delhi - Kalka - Shimla By Train / Himalayan Queen
You will be transferred in time to board the Himalayan Queen to Kalka,
from where you will have a delightful journey in a Toy Train to Shimla.
The train passes through 104 tunnels and zigzags its way up the beautiful
mountain scenery. Overnight stay in your hotel.

03: In Shimla
Your tour of Shimla will include the Mall, which runs along the top of
the ridge with its rows of shops and old colonial architecture and is
one place every visitor passes through. This is the hub of Shimla's life.
At the end of the promenade, there is Scandal Point, a large open square
with a view of the town, so named because of a number of romantic rendezvous
arranged here in the past. Shimla's landmarks - the neo Gothic structure
of Christ Church and the neo Tudor Library building are worth seeing.

04: Shimla - Sarahan (2165 M) - By surface / 184 km / approx 7 hrs
You commence your biking by departing from Shimla early in the morning
and arrive Sarahan by the evening. En route visit Buddha Temple at Rampur,
which is 130 km from Shimla. After the visit continue your drive to Sarahan,
the ancient capital of the mighty Bushahr. Here, the Bhimakali Temple
is built in Indo-Tibetan architectural style and is one of the finest
examples of Himachali architecture. Overnight at Hotel

05: Sarahan - Sangla (2680 M) - By surface / 92 km / approx 3 - 4 hrs
From Sarahan your journey takes you to Sangla (Kinnaur) through the Baspa
Valley, offering breathtaking views of gorges of the Greater Himalayas.
You will be stopping en route at Karchham, where the Baspa River joins
the Sutlej River from the south. 18 km from here brings you to Sangla,
where you check in to your camp. Overnight stay in your camp.

06: In Sangla
Today you will enjoy a day trip to Rakcham & Chitkul. Rakchham is
situated on the banks of Baspa River, at an altitude of 2900 M, and is
famous for its scenic beauty. It is about 13 km from Sangla on the way
to Chitkul (3450 M). The last and the highest village in the Baspa Valley,
Chitkul, 28 km from Sangla, is noted for its alpine meadows and views
of the snows capped peaks. Looming above the village is the impressive
Mt. Kinner Kailash (6050 M).

07: Sangla - Kalpa (2960 M) - By surface / 51 KM / approx 2 ½ hrs
You have an early morning start and first stop at Kamru Fort on your way
to Kalpa. This castle is situated at an altitude of about 2500 M in the
heart of scenic Baspa Valley. The castle has a distinctive type of temple
architecture with a tower that served as the residence for the Thakur
and also housed the clan deity of the ruling house. You will arrive Kalpa
by the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel

08: Kalpa - Nako (2950 M) biking 122 km / approx 4-5 hrs
As you continue on your biking towards Spiti Valley, you experience Timberline
-- a line beyond which forests do not grow. The barren and rugged brown
mountains start from Jangi, which get more rugged and barren after Pooh
(2837 M). Your drive continues along the Sutlej River until you reach
Khab (2831 M), the confluence of Rivers Sutlej and Spiti where you halt
for a picnic lunch amidst picturesque surroundings. A direct climb up
takes you to Nako. Overnight stay is in a camp.

09: Nako - Tabo (3050 M) - By surface / 59 KM / approx 59 KM / 2 ½
hrs
After breakfast your tour takes you to Tabo, the largest monastic complex
in Spiti. Tabo Gompa is a world heritage site of UNESCO.

10: Tabo - Kaza (3600 M) - By surface / 48 KM / approx 2 hrs
The Biking from Tabo to Kaza is along the Spiti River; en route you will
be visiting Dhankar Gompa. This Gompa rests high over the valley and is
a stupendous example of local architecture. It is said to have been a
fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti - the Nano.
You will arrive Kaza
in the afternoon and check in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

11: In Kaza - visit to Kye Monastery (3969 M) and Kibber (4205 M)
In the morning you visit the Kye Monastery located 12 km from Kaza. This
ancient monastery is believed to have been built on a crater of an extinct
Volcano. The monastery boasts of ancient brass instruments consisting
of trumpets, cymbals and drums.
11 km further ahead
is a small gompa at Kibber, which has the distinction of being the highest
permanently inhabited village here. It is considered to be one of the
highest villages in the world. On the return journey to Kaza you are rewarded
with some excellent views of the Damul Village.

12:Kaza - Keylong By Surface approx 6 - 7 hrs
Today you would be crossing over the highest altitude on your entire safari
as you travel from Kaza to Keylong over the Kunzam Pass (4551 M). In Keylong
you will be saying for the night in a Hotel, which has majestic and breathtaking
views of the Himalayas.

13: Keylong - Sarchu
Morning after breakfast start for Sarchu (4253 M) (125 kms/5 hrs approx)
via Baralachala (4892 M). Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi
and few lonely soldiers at an army outpost. It is also the actual border
between Lahaul and Zanskar. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

14: Sarchu - Leh
Morning after breakfast biking to Leh (3500 M) (233 kms/8 - 9 hrs approx.)
via Lachulangla (5065 M) and Tanglangla (5360 M) - the second highest
pass in the world with metalled road. Leh is the capital of Ladakh and
is situated on the bank of the river Indus. Arrive and check into hotel
for overnight stay.

15: Leh
Morning free at leisure. After lunch visit Leh Palace, Leh gompa, Shanti
Stupa and local bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

16: Leh
Morning proceed for sight-seeing of Shey, old summer palace with 12 feet
statue of Buddha: Thikse, the superbly situated Monastery on a hilltop
overlooking the village and the Indus river and Hemis Monastery the richest
and the largest Monastery of the area. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day
17: Leh
Morning proceed for sight-seeing of Phyang and Spituk monasteries. Lunch
at hotel. Afternoon visit to Stok Palace and museum. Return to Leh enroute
visiting SOS Tibetan Refugee camp at Choglamsar. Evening free at leisure
for shopping etc. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day
18: Leh - Delhi (Flight)
Morning transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Delhi. On
arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

19:In Delhi
After breakfast in the morning proceed for a city tour of Old & New
Delhi. In the old city visit Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan; Jama
Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India; enjoy a walking tour in Chandni
Chowk - the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity and Raj Ghat
- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon visit Qutab Minar,
the tallest stone tower in India and other historical sites.
Day
20:Departure from Delhi
You will be transferred to the International Airport to board your flight
for your onward journey / back home.
